Galaxy Conduit is an immersive interactive art dome and cosmic portal that transports the participants into the vast recesses of space, evoking wonder at the beauty of the universe and offering interconnectedness through hand-holding. Solo participants can trigger light and soundscapes on the glowing push-button console, but only larger groups of people can link together with hand to hand and skin to plasma contact to complete human circuitry and unlock a cosmic secret. Higher numbers of people trigger higher energy sound and light states, coupled with imagery that reveals the concentric patterns of the universe from the largest to smallest scale, journeying out to the farthest voids of space back to the surface of the Earth and deep into the nucleus of an atom.

Seth McMahon is currently hitch hiking through the west coast with a bag of dirty clothes, some sketch books and canvas. He has plans to change the world. Originally from San Francisco, Seth was classicly trained at the Academy of Art University. He was also alternatively trained in the underground warehouse parties in Oakland. He explains his style as a blend of psychedelic surrealism with a grounding in traditional realism. Seth hopes to capture the spirit of adventure in his artwork. Along with the journey, he expresses the transformations and realizations involved. He tells stories of the characters he meets along the way. The intention is for his artwork is to serve as a mapping of consciousness for himself and others. Seth creates artwork to inspire, share beauty and to give hope.

Café Bonito coffees are hand selected from only the finest “Specialty Grade” coffees available from many coffee growing regions around the globe. We roast our coffees in small batches maintaining quality control and developing the superior flavor characteristics of each coffee.

We (Andrea and Jeremy) met as apprentices at the sustainable farming and gardening program at University of California Santa Cruz. From a shared love of coffee we started roasting experimentally as amateurs. We eventually took the plunge and did two gruelling years of farmers markets with a 5 lb batch roaster and the freshest press pot coffee folks had ever had. We established our shop at 2001 SE 11th over two years ago and graduated to a new 25 lb Diedrich roaster, made right here in the Northwest. It’s been quite a trip…and we’re just getting started.

Rigzin’s main training is in the meditation practices of Vajrayana (Tibetan) Buddhism. She has studied and practiced now for over 25 years. Completing a traditional three year retreat in 1993, and many other retreats over the years. Marrying her teachers son, soon after giving birth to her son ,a recognized reincarnation. They traveled extensively on pilgrimages throughout India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet, visiting many holy sites and monestaraies affiliated with the lineage and family. Rigzin was trained intensively to sing the traditional songs (prayers) of elaborate ceremonies.

After surviving cancer, and leaving the marriage, she returned to her roots as an artist. Falling in with the avant guard artist collective, “El Circo”, she began to perform in shows. Her friends would come to visit her on her rural retreat land on the coast in Northern California, and would hear her sing her prayers in the early morning hours. Inspired by the peace it invoked, they asked her to record. Random Rab then created the first tracks.   Recently releasing her first album, UNION.
